Oatmeal Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. quick-cooking oats
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 egg or 2 egg whites
    1/2 c. light brown sugar
    1/2 c. melted margarine or canola oil
    1 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Soak oats in buttermilk 1 hour.
    Add egg and beat well with wooden spoon.
    Add sugar and mix together well.
    Add sifted flour with remaining ingredients.
