Caramel Cake Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Boil sugars and milk until syrup forms a soft ball in cold water (232\u00b0).
    Add butter; remove from heat.
    Cool to lukewarm (110\u00b0).
    Beat until thick and creamy and of right consistency to spread.
    Will cover top and sides of two 9-inch layers.
