Simple Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. butter or margarine
    5 eggs
    3 c. plain flour
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Preparation
    Cream sugar, shortening and butter or margarine.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each one.
    Add flour, milk and vanilla.
    Mix until blended.
    Pour into a greased and floured 10 inch tube pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour, then at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes more or until it test done.
    Cool 10 to 15 minutes in pan.
