Green Beans Au Gratin - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. canned green beans
5 slices bacon
3 Tbsp. flour
3/4 c. milk
1 1/2 c. grated cheese
3/4 c. bread crumbs
3 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Drain beans and save liquid.
Fry bacon; drain skillet.
Add flour and stir until blended.
Add milk and bean liquid.
Stir constantly over low heat until thickens.
Add cheese and stir until melted.
Put in casserole dish and sprinkle with buttered bread crumbs.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for about 20 minutes, uncovered, until crumbs are browned.
Sprinkle with crumbled bacon.
Serve hot.
