Chicken With Capers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 chicken, cut up
    1 c. onion
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1/2 c. salad style olives with pimentos
    1 small can tomato sauce
    7 capers with a little juice
    parsley flakes
    1 bay leaf
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1/2 c. or more celery
    salt, pepper, garlic and paprika (shaken on)
Preparation
    Saute in a little oil on bottom of large pot the onion, green pepper, salt, pepper, garlic, paprika and parsley flakes until soft.
    Add chicken; stir on high flame until it is all mixed up. Turn flame down to medium; simmer about 15 minutes.
    Add capers and olives; cook for 20 minutes, then add tomato sauce, vinegar and bay leaf.
    Cook for 20 minutes.
    Add celery; cook 20 minutes more, or until tender.
    Stir up chicken a little throughout cooking.
    Serve with rice.
    Makes own gravy.
