Carrot Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. white sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1 heaping tsp. baking soda
3 c. carrots, finely grated
1 1/2 c. Wesson oil
2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. pecans, cut fine
1/2 c. raisins (optional)
Preparation

Sift together salt, soda, cinnamon and flour.
Mix together the sugar, oil and eggs.
Add sifted dry ingredients.
Stir in carrots and nuts.
Spray with Pam or grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan or make 3 layers.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
