Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt (optional)
    1 beaten egg
    8 to 10 large apples, peeled and sliced
    sugar
    cinnamon
    1 stick margarine, melted
Preparation
    Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
    Add egg to dry ingredients; mix until crumbly.
    Put sliced apples in a greased 8 x 8-inch baking dish; add 1/2 cup sugar (or to taste) and cinnamon (to taste).
    Top with crumbly mixture.
    Melt 1 stick of margarine; pour over mixture.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 to 45 minutes, or until top is golden brown.
    (Recipe may be doubled for a 13 x 9-inch cake pan.)
