Coconut Peaks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    2 c. powdered sugar
    3 c. coconut
    1/4 c. light cream or evaporated milk
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
    2 tsp. shortening
Preparation
    Slowly melt butter until golden brown.
    Stir in powdered sugar, coconut and cream.
    Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto wax paper. Refrigerate until easy to handle, then shape into peaks. Over hot, not boiling, water melt chocolate pieces and shortening. Stir until smooth.
    Dip bottoms of the peaks into chocolate, then harden on wax paper.
