Texas Hash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 green pepper, cut into thin strips
    2 tsp. chili powder
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 large onions, sliced
    1 (16 oz) can tomatoes
    1/2 c. rice (uncooked)
    2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Brown ground beef, onions and green pepper in large frying pan.
    Pour off drippings.
    Sprinkle chili powder, salt and pepper over meat.
    Add tomatoes and rice.
    Bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat, cover tightly and cook until rice is done, 25 to 30 minutes. Serves 4 to 6.
