Strawberry Cheesecake Trifle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2 c. powdered sugar
1 c. sour cream
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. almond extract
1 c. whipping cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 angel food cake, torn into small pieces
2 qt. fresh strawberries, sliced thin
3 Tbsp. sugar
almond extract to taste
Preparation

Cream the cream cheese, sugar, sour cream, vanilla and almond extract.
Set aside.
In small deep bowl whip the cream, vanilla and sugar.
Fold whipped cream into cheese mixture.
Add cake pieces; set aside.
Combine strawberries, sugar and almond extract.
Layer in large glass bowl starting with strawberries, then adding cake mixture.
Continue layering; finish with strawberries attractively arranged on top.
Cover with plastic wrap.
Chill well.
Serves 24.
