Classic Chocolate Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 blocks (2 oz.) Hershey's baking chocolate
    1/4 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. evaporated milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Melt baking chocolate and butter in top of double boiler over simmering water.
    Stir until chocolate has melted.
    Gradually stir in sugar and salt.
    Add evaporated milk; blend well.
    Remove from heat; add vanilla.
    Serve warm over ice cream or other dessert. Makes 2 cups.
