Southern Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    3/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. white Karo
    1/4 c. butter or margarine, melted
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 to 2 c. pecans, chopped
    1 unbaked (9-inch) pie shell
    Dash of salt
Preparation
    Beat eggs thoroughly, add sugar, Karo and salt, mix well. Add butter and vanilla, beat well. Put pecans in bottom of pie shell, pour mixture over nuts. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes, then lower temperature to 300 degrees and cook for 35 minutes longer.
