Fresh Strawberry Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 pkg. strawberry flavored gelatin
2 c. hot water
1 1/2 c. cold water
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/2 c. finely chopped nuts
1 pt. fresh strawberries, lightly sugared
Preparation

Pour the hot water over the gelatin and stir well to completely dissolve. Add 1 1/2 cups cold water. Shape cream cheese into balls (use 1 teaspoon for each).
Roll in the chopped nuts. Place cheese balls, evenly spaced, in a 9-inch ring mold.
Cover with the lightly sugared strawberries.
Pour cooled strawberry gelatin over cheese balls and berries.
Chill until the gelatin is set.
Unmold on a large serving plate. Serves 8.
