Seafoam Candy - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sugar
1 c. water
1 Tbsp. vinegar
2 egg whites, stiffly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Combine sugar, water and vinegar; cook, stirring until sugar is dissolved, until a little ball forms when dropped in cool water.
Pour slowly over stiffly beaten egg whites, beating while pouring, and continue until creamy.
Add nuts and vanilla.
Beat vigorously until candy stiffens.
When nearly set, drop by teaspoonful onto waxed paper.
