Doris Lowery'S Caramel Popcorn - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. brown sugar
2 sticks margarine
1/2 c. white Karo
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking soda
8 qt. popped corn
peanuts
Preparation

Combine brown sugar, margarine, Karo, salt and vanilla; boil together for 5 minutes.
Remove from heat; stir in baking soda. Pour over popped corn and peanuts; stir.
Spread out in a large baking pan or cookie sheet with sides.
Bake at 250\u00b0 for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Pour onto waxed paper and cool. Break into clumps and store in an airtight container.
