Divinity Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. white sugar
    1/2 c. corn syrup
    1/2 c. water
    1 c. walnuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 egg whites
Preparation
    Beat egg whites until stiff. Boil sugar, syrup and water until it forms a hard ball stage when tested in cold water.
    Add walnuts and vanilla.
    Pour over stiffly beaten egg whites.
    Beat until light, pour on buttered plate by spoonfuls.
