Chicken Dinner Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 lb.) frying chicken, cut up
    salt and pepper
    1/4 c. Wesson oil
    2 c. water
    1/2 c. sliced ripe olives (optional)
    2 (8 oz.) cans Hunt's tomato sauce
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen green peas, thawed
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 c. raw rice
Preparation
    Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper and brown in Wesson oil in skillet. Add onion and saute. Stir in tomato sauce, water, salt, pepper and rice. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer 45 minutes. Add peas and olives. Continue cooking, covered, for 15 minutes.
