Strawberry Jello Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
    4 medium bananas
    2 small cans frozen sliced strawberries, thawed
    1 pt. sour cream
Preparation
    Prepare 1 box of jello with this exception:
    Use only 1 cup boiling water to dissolve jello, then add only 1 cup of cold water.
    To this mixture, add 1/2 of the pineapple, 2 of the bananas (mashed) and 1 package thawed strawberries.
    Pour into a 13 x 9-inch glass dish; let set for about 1 hour, or until firm enough to layer the sour cream on top.
