Crock-Pot Chicken In Wine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 carrots, sliced
    2 onions, sliced
    2 stalks celery with leaves, cut into 1-inch pieces
    4 chicken breasts
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. coarse black pepper
    1/2 c. white wine
    1/2 tsp. basil
Preparation
    Put carrots, celery and onion in bottom of crock-pot.
    Add chicken, top with salt, pepper and wine.
    Sprinkle basil over chicken.
    Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours or cook on high 3 1/2 to 5 hours (use 1 cup of wine for cooking on high).
    Yields 4 servings.
