East Texas Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. ground beef
2 c. bite size potatoes
3/4 c. chopped onion
2 chicken bouillon cubes
salt to taste
1 (No. 2) can tomato juice
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 stick butter
3 Tbsp. chili powder
1 (No. 2) can creamed corn
1 c. cooked macaroni
Preparation

Brown and drain beef. Add spuds, chopped onion, bouillon cubes and enough water to cook potatoes.
Cook vegetables until tender, then add tomato juice, brown sugar, butter and chili powder.
Let simmer for 15 minutes, then add corn and cooked macaroni.
Let simmer slowly for 10 minutes.
