Custard For Pies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 egg yolks
2/3 c. sugar
4 Tbsp. plain flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Heat milk.
In a separate bowl, beat egg yolks very light. Add sugar and flour and beat again.
Mix with a little hot milk and stir.
Add this mixture to the rest of milk.
Cook until thick, stirring all the time.
Pour into baked pie shell.
Add meringue and brown in oven.
