Green Tomato Pickles(Serves 4 Or 5 Per Quart) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 gal. quartered green tomatoes
1 qt. quartered or sliced onions
1/2 c. thinly sliced jalapeno peppers
3 c. sugar
1/4 to 1/2 c. salt
2 tsp. black pepper
5 c. white vinegar
Preparation
-
Put all ingredients in large pot; mix well.
Do not place lid on pot, heat over open fire.
When it barely starts to boil, remove from heat.
Immediately
place in quart jars (pints may be used) and seal.
