Rhubarb Dessert Cake With Caramel Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. margarine
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. hot water
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1 c. flour
    2 1/2 c. cut up rhubarb
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add egg, water and vanilla.
    Add dry ingredients and mix well.
    Stir in nuts and rhubarb.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 in greased 9-inch square pan for 45 to 60 minutes.
