Danish Apple Dessert - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. flour
1 c. shortening
1 tsp. salt
1 egg yolk plus enough milk to make 2/3 c.
3 or 4 handfuls corn flakes, crushed
8 to 10 apples
1 to 1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation

Make dough by combining flour, shortening, salt and egg-milk mixture.
Use 1/2 dough and roll out to fill 10 x 15-inch jelly roll pan.
Roll other half and cut vents.
Crush corn flakes and sprinkle on bottom crust.
Peel and slice apples on top of crumbs. Put sugar, mixed with cinnamon and nutmeg, on top of apples.
