Corn Fritters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 303) can cream-style corn or 1 pt. young fresh corn
    1 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 egg, beaten
    1/4 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together in a bowl and beat well.
    Drop by small dips into hot fat at 350\u00b0.
    Be sure they cook long enough that centers are done.
    Serve with maple syrup.
