Tortellini Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 to 4 cloves garlic, minced
    1 Tbsp. olive oil
    3 (14 oz. each) cans beef broth
    1 tsp. basil
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 (14 to 16 oz.) can stewed Italian tomatoes
    1/2 to 3/4 c. picante or medium salsa
    1 pkg. tortellini (dry or fresh)
    Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Brown onion and garlic in oil.
    Add beef broth, tomatoes, picante and basil.
    Boil.
    Stir in tortellini.
    Simmer 15 minutes uncovered.
    Stir in peppers.
    Simmer 3 to 4 minutes.
    Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
