Carrot Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sifted plain flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. salad oil
4 eggs
2 1/2 or 3 c. shredded carrots
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 (15 1/4 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained and blended in blender
1/2 c. raisins
2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Sift together flour, baking powder, soda, salt and cinnamon. Add sugar, oil and eggs; beat at medium speed 1 minute.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Bake in three 9-inch greased and floured pans at 350\u00b0 for about 40 minutes.
Yields a 3-layer cake.
