Skillet Spaghetti - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    dash of garlic powder
    1/3 c. chopped green pepper
    1 Tbsp. shortening
    2 tsp. salt
    4 c. water
    1/2 lb. spaghetti, broken in pieces
    1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
    3/4 c. catsup
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. Italian dressing
Preparation
    In a large deep pan, saute first 4 ingredients in shortening. Sprinkle with salt; stir in water. Bring mixture to a boil. Add spaghetti. Cook, uncovered, 12 to 15 minutes or until spaghetti is tender. Add remaining ingredients and simmer 10 minutes to blend flavors.
