Green Noodle Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. green noodles
    2 cans cream of mushroom soup
    1 soup can milk
    1/2 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
    1 can chopped pimentos
    salt and pepper to taste
    pinch of oregano
    pinch of basil
    4 c. diced, cooked chicken
    1 c. slivered almonds
Preparation
    Cook noodles according to directions on the package.
    Combine soup, milk and cheese.
    Heat until cheese is melted.
    Add pimentos, salt, pepper, oregano and basil.
    Put chicken in a well-sprayed 9 x 12-inch casserole dish.
    Add layers of noodles, cheese mixture and almonds.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Serves 8.
