Molasses Crumb Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. Crisco
    1 c. baking molasses
    1 c. hot water
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Mix flour, sugar and Crisco together to form crumbs.
    Set aside 1 cup of crumbs for the top of the cakes.
    Mix molasses, hot water and baking soda together, then beat in the rest of the crumb mixture.
    This makes 2 (9-inch) cakes.
    Sprinkle 1/2 cup crumbs on top of each cake.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
