Corn Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices bacon
    1 medium onion, diced
    1 to 2 c. potatoes, peeled and diced
    1 (1 lb.) can corn
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 can cream of celery soup
    1 1/2 to 2 c. milk
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    In large saucepan, fry bacon until crisp.
    Remove bacon and reserve grease.
    Drain corn, reserving liquid.
    Add reserved liquid to bacon drippings along with potatoes and onion.
    Cover and simmer until tender.
    Add corn, soup, milk, salt and pepper; heat thoroughly.
    Serve.
    Crumble bacon over chowder in bowls.
