Apple Butter - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 c. cooked sieved apples
4 c. sugar
1/4 c. vinegar
1/2 c. red cinnamon candies (red hots)
1 Tbsp. ground cinnamon
Preparation

Place all ingredients in a crock-pot and turn to high.
Cook most of the day, then the last hour or two remove the lid of the crock-pot and cook to desired consistency.
If keeping for later or winter use, place in jars and seal, then process in hot water bath for ten minutes.
When the jars are cold remove the rings and store in cool dry place.
