Homemade Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 or 3 large cans Carnation milk
    5 eggs, separated
    1 pt. or 2 c. crushed pineapple or peaches
    salt
Preparation
    Beat egg yolks, then add sugar and mix.
    Add milk.
    Beat egg whites until stiff; fold in egg whites and fruit to first mixture. Place in churn.
    Place ice in churn.
    Add salt on ice and churn until stiff.
    Cover top of churn and let it set for approximately 30 minutes.
