Penuche Candy - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. sour cream
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. pecan halves
Preparation

In saucepan, combine sugars and sour cream.
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until sugars dissolved.
Cook to 240\u00b0 on candy thermometer or until soft ball forms.
Remove from heat. Add vanilla and nuts.
Stir until mixture begins to coat nuts. Quickly turn onto wax paper.
With 2 forks, separate nuts.
Cool.
