Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. strawberry gelatin
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. water
    1 pt. strawberries
    1 (9-inch) pie crust, baked
    1 c. heavy cream, whipped or Cool Whip
Preparation
    Mix first 4 ingredients; boil 5 minutes.
    Chill in refrigerator.
    It will thicken.
    Wash and slice berries.
    Mix berries with thickened mixture; pour into baked pie shell.
    Top with whipped cream or Cool Whip.
    Serves 6 to 8.
