Tropical Fruit Jam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 bananas, mashed
    1/2 c. maraschino cherries, chopped
    3 1/4 c. mashed peaches (hand potato masher works)
    6 c. sugar
    1 box Sure-Jell
Preparation
    Measure sugar and set aside.
    Put all fruit in a bowl and mix well.
    Put in heavy saucepan.
    Put on high heat.
    Add one box of Sure-Jell and bring to a hard rolling boil.
    Add sugar all at once and bring back to a hard rolling boil.
    Boil for 1 minute.
    Skim off the foam and ladle into jars.
    Seal with hot lids and turn upside down for 1/2 hour.
