Buttermilk Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter, melted
    3 eggs
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. flour
    1 (8-inch) unbaked pie shell
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Sift the sugar and flour into a mixing bowl and beat in the butter.
    Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Slowly pour in the buttermilk, then the vanilla, mixing well.
    Pour the batter into the unbaked pie shell and bake for 45 minutes or until the pie is golden and the custard has set. Cool to room temperature before serving.
