Maco Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 can refried beans
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1/4 large onion, minced
    1 tsp. salt (optional)
    10 to 12 oz. shredded cheese (Mexican and Mozzarella or any kind you prefer)
    tortilla chips (Scoops are great for this)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 475\u00b0. Spread cream cheese evenly in an ungreased 10-inch casserole dish; set aside. In saucepan over low heat, mix beans, garlic, onion and salt. When mixture is hot, add 1/2 cup cheese and mix until melted. Spread mixture over cream cheese; top with remainder of shredded cheese. Bake first 10 to 15 minutes uncovered. Then cover with tinfoil and bake another 10 to 15 minutes or until sides have bubbled a few minutes. Remove from oven; remove foil. Let cool 2 to 3 minutes. Serve hot with chips.
