Fruited Cherry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (1 lb.) can sour cherries
    2/3 c. sugar
    2 drops red food coloring
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 (1 lb.) can crushed pineapple
    1/4 c. flour
    2 large mashed bananas
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. orange gelatin
Preparation
    In a saucepan, combine the cherries, pineapple (with juices), sugar, flour and food coloring.
    Cook until thickened.
    Remove from stove; add the gelatin.
    Cool until slightly thickened, then stir in the bananas and nuts.
    Chill until firm.
    Serves 8 to 10.
