Sour Cream Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. plain flour
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 sticks real butter
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs, separated
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
    8 oz. carton sour cream
Preparation
    Beat egg whites; set aside.
    Mix butter until smooth.
    Add sugar; mix well.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Combine flour, salt and soda.
    Alternate mixing in the flour and sour cream.
    Add flavorings and mix thoroughly.
    By hand with wooden spoon, mix in the egg whites.
    Pour mixture into a greased and floured large tube pan.
    Put in cold oven and turn to 300\u00b0.
    Bake 1 hour and 45 minutes.
