Banana Nut Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. flour
1 2/3 c. sugar
1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
2/3 c. shortening
1/3 c. buttermilk
1 1/4 c. mashed bananas
1/3 c. buttermilk
2 unbeaten eggs
2/3 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, soda and salt.
Add shortening, buttermilk and bananas.
Beat vigorously for 2 minutes.
Add the remaining buttermilk and unbeaten eggs; beat 2 more minutes.
Fold in chopped nuts.
Pour into 2 greased and floured round pans or 1 oblong pan.
