Cold Squash Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. (heaping) yellow squash, cut in halves for easy stirring and partially peeled
    1 onion
    1/2 to 3/4 stick butter or margarine
    1 slice lemon
    1/4 c. or a bit more flour
    lemon juice (healthy splash to taste)
    white pepper
    salt
    6 c. chicken broth (2 cans Swanson or 2 c. chicken consomme made with cubes)
Preparation
    Saute onion in butter.
    Stir in squash and seeded lemon slice. Sprinkle with flour.
    Cook 3 minutes over low heat, stirring, until all lumps are batter-floury.
