Deep Dish Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. milk
2 c. sugar
8 Tbsp. cocoa
8 heaping Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
6 eggs, separated
1 stick margarine
2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Scald milk.
Mix the next 4 ingredients well.
Add to milk. Cook on low heat, stirring constantly.
Add well beaten egg yolks. Slowly cook until thickened.
Add margarine and vanilla.
Stir and cool.
Pour into baked pie shell in deep, rectangular baking dish. Top with meringue.
Yields two deep dish pie shells.
