Thai Sweet And Sour Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. ketchup
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch, mixed with water
Preparation
    Put the water, sugar, salt and vinegar in a small pot.
    Using low heat, bring slowly to a boil.
    Add ketchup and stir.
    Add cornstarch gradually, stirring until it thickens.
    Remove from heat and cool.
    Put in a jar and cover.
    Use for sweet and sour sauce or as a sauce for fried won ton.
