Temptations - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. butter or margarine
3/4 c. corn syrup (light or dark)
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped pecans
8 oz. sweet chocolate chunks
Preparation

Beat brown sugar and butter until fluffy.
Slowly beat in corn syrup, then egg and vanilla.
Blend in flour, baking powder and salt mixture.
Stir in the pecans and half of the sweet chocolate chunks.
Spread in an ungreased 15 1/2 x 10 1/2-inch jelly roll pan.
Sprinkle remaining chocolate on top.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
Cool on rack.
Cut in 2 1/2-inch squares.
Yield:
2 dozen.
