Chocolate Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter
1/2 c. Crisco
3 c. sugar
5 large eggs
3 c. plain flour
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. sweet milk
2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream butter and Crisco.
Add sugar, beating thoroughly.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
Sift flour with cocoa, baking powder and salt.
Add to creamed mixture a small amount at a time, alternately with milk; add vanilla.
Pour into greased and floured tube pan.
Bake at 300\u00b0 to 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
Cool.
