Layered Danish Green Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 to 1 head lettuce, broken in pieces
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1 (10 oz.) box frozen green peas, cooked and cooled
Preparation
    Layer above ingredients in order listed in 9 x 13-inch glass dish.
