Pretzel Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. crushed pretzels
1/2 c. sugar
1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1 c. sugar
3/4 c . (1 1/2 sticks) margarine, melted
1 carton (9 oz.) whipped topping
1 large pkg. strawberry flavored gelatin
2 c. pineapple juice, heated or 2 c. boiling water
2 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen strawberries with juice
Preparation

Mix pretzels, 1/2 cup sugar and melted margarine.
Spread in 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Mix cream cheese, 1 cup sugar and whipped topping and spread over pretzel layer. Dissolve gelatin in hot juice and add strawberries and juice to gelatin.
Let set partially, then spread on top of cream layer and chill thoroughly.
