Hot Dill Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    pickles, quartered
    1 qt. vinegar
    2 qt. water
    3/4 c. pickle salt
    garlic (1 small bulb to a jar)
    1 tsp. dill seed
    hot peppers (2 to a jar)
    1/2 tsp. alum
Preparation
    Put quartered pickles in a jar with pepper, dill and garlic bulb.
    Boil other ingredients; pour into jars and seal.
    Do not overpack jars.
