Sherbet Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 gal. sherbet
    3 envelopes Dream Whip
    1 1/2 c. milk
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    18 coconut macaroon cookies
    1 c. pecans
Preparation
    Mix milk with Dream Whip as directed on package.
    Add nuts. Crumble cookies and mix with Dream Whip and nuts.
    Press half of this mixture on bottom of 9 x 12-inch pan for crust.
    Spread sherbet evenly over this.
    Top with remainder of cookie mixture. Freeze several hours.
    Serve in squares or slices.
    Serves 12 or more.
